A crossover is for Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow is close by.
Gone are the days when superheroes crossover was not a thing in the industry, most of them prefer to do justice alone in thier little respective neigbourhood. But now things have changed everyone of them is trying to be friends with neigbouring superheroes, Batman is becoming friends with Superman, Spiderman is joining in with Iron-Man, Thor is asking for help from Doctor Strange before joining Hulk in Ragnarok.
The superhero crossover was teased last summer and is here already, the story begins at Supergirl then contnues to The Flash, Arrow, and DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow. The crossover trailer shows us the heroes coming together to form a team and defend Earth from the invasion of The Dominators.
The new crossover is based on a 1988 comic book event miniseries Invasion! from Keith Giffen, Bill Mantlo, Todd McFarlane and Bart Sears.
The event closely track the plot of that storyline: aliens will be assembled by The Dominators and descend on Earth to bring an end to the “threat” of Earth’s burgeoning metahuman community.
Of course, they’ve also got plans of their own — to use humanity’s “metagene” to create a super-race of Dominators who can cow even the most powerful of alien races into submission. –Comic Book
