Nokia’s executive Mike Wang, has recently confirmed that 3 or possibly 4 new Nokia-branded Android smartphones are going to be unveiled in the fourth quarter of this year, 2016.
The report also reveals that HMD, the Finnish company that received the licensing rights to the brand this year, will be designing the new smartphones, but they will be manufactured by Foxconn. But, there is still no official information about the new phones from Nokia, but rumors of unknown origins indicate that the Finnish company Nokia should return to the market with two high-end smartphones.
Unfortunately, no word about the technical characteristics of these smartphones. From recent rumors, however, we know that two of them will be top of the range and the other two will attempt to win the medium-low.
However, it may also possible that the actual launch could be pushed back into early 2017 which is fully depending on the testing and development department of the company.
